I just went to ascalon and bought teh cheap ranger fur and dyed it red. I really should have dyed it orange+red but i was cheap hahahha

Probably a bit late but it was either decided by where people stood. If most of the people stood by the grenth carolers when grenth arrived you got antlers. If you stood by the tree when dwayna appeared and most people are there you got a hat. You needed to go to the servers in lions arch and check which had most people around spot.
